//bio

During the tender year of second grade, my grandmother nurtured my natural ability for design by allowing me to take private fine arts lessons for the proceeding 10 years from a warm hearted woman, Annette Francis. She taught me the value of expression through a variety of mediums, processes and canvases that could evoke feelings and tell stories.

Then NC State's College of Design presented me with everyday interactions that scream for a designers insight
to communicate effectively. Seriously, have you ever tried opening a door without looking? Or eaten something
without looking at the label? My studies of 3D and 2D applications developed into the need to share the way
information and media is conveyed. Clean, thought provoking and readily accessible design is the first level of
reading you will get from my pieces. Below that, there are expressions of my beliefs and passions, details only
there if you are willing to see and explore. Beyond effective design, there is always a story wanting to be read.
